Refunds, Returns & Cancellations
Returns Policy
At Stewart Golf, we want you to enjoy every round. Whether you need to find the right trolley for your game, return an order or get help with a fault, we're here to help.
This page explains our Perfect Fit Promise, your right to cancel an order, and what to do if your trolley develops a fault.
This policy explains the rights of UK consumers buying goods directly from Stewart Golf Ltd. A consumer is an individual buying wholly or mainly for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession. Business and trade purchases are subject to the applicable business terms; using our website or Shopify does not by itself make a purchase a consumer purchase. If you bought from another retailer, your statutory rights against that retailer remain unchanged.

14-day cancellation right
If you buy goods from us as a consumer online or by phone, you can generally cancel before delivery or within 14 days after the day you receive them, without giving a reason. Exceptions are explained below. We'll arrange and cover the cost of collecting your trolley.
Faulty products
If your trolley develops a fault, contact our Customer Care team. We'll help you understand the options available under your warranty and your statutory consumer rights.
The Perfect Fit Promise
We believe the right trolley can make every round better. But with different models designed to suit different golfers, finding the one that works best for your game is important.
That's why, when you buy a new electric golf trolley directly from stewartgolf.co.uk, you have 30 days from delivery to make sure it's the right fit. If it isn't quite right, you can swap it for a different model in our range, with free collection arranged by us.
How does it work?
1. Order: Buy a new electric trolley directly from Stewart Golf.
2. Play: Take it to the course and enjoy your round.
3. Decide: If it's not quite right for you, contact us within 30 days of delivery. We'll arrange a free collection so you can swap it for a different model in our range.
Who is eligible?
The Perfect Fit Promise applies to new electric golf trolleys purchased directly from stewartgolf.co.uk.
It does not apply to Approved Refurbished products, bespoke products made to a customer's specific requirements, or purchases from third-party retailers.
The Promise allows one model exchange per order. It applies when you want to change to a different trolley model, such as swapping a Q Follow for a VERTX Remote. It doesn't cover exchanges for a different colour or configuration of the same model.
What if I want a different colour?
The Perfect Fit Promise is designed to help you find the right trolley model for your game, rather than change the colour of your trolley. If you'd like to change the colour, you can explore our Design Series DIY Kits.
Our standard colour options available on the website are not considered bespoke or customised products. They remain eligible for the usual statutory cancellation rights, where applicable.
What if my replacement trolley costs more or less?
If your replacement trolley costs more than your original purchase, you'll need to pay the difference. If it costs less, we'll refund the difference.
Is collection free?
Yes. We'll arrange and cover the cost of collecting your original trolley as part of the Perfect Fit Promise.
Do I need to keep the original packaging?
Yes. You must keep the original packaging in order to use the Perfect Fit Promise. This helps ensure your trolley can be safely packaged and returned to us. This condition applies only to the voluntary Promise: you do not need the original packaging to exercise your statutory cancellation or faulty-goods rights. Please contact us if you need help arranging suitable packaging for a statutory return.
Can I get a refund instead?
The Perfect Fit Promise is a trolley exchange service, rather than a money-back guarantee. It does not replace your statutory right to cancel an eligible distance purchase or your rights to a refund for faulty goods where the law provides one. You do not have to accept an exchange instead of a statutory refund.
The Perfect Fit Promise does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
Cancelling an order and requesting a refund
If you buy goods directly from us as a consumer online or by phone, you generally have the right to cancel without giving a reason at any time before delivery and until 14 days after the day you, or someone you nominate other than the carrier, receives them. This includes accessories, batteries and Approved Refurbished goods, subject to the exceptions below. For goods in one order delivered separately, the period generally runs from receipt of the last item; for goods delivered in several lots or pieces, it runs from receipt of the last lot or piece.
To cancel, send or give us a clear statement of your decision before the cancellation period expires. You can use our Contact Us page, telephone us on 0333 800 1818, or write to Stewart Golf Ltd, Edison Close, Waterwells Business Park, Quedgeley, Gloucester, GL2 2FN. Cancellation does not depend on our prior approval or a returns authorisation. We'll arrange and pay for collection of your trolley; please make it available and cooperate with the collection arrangements. For other goods, contact Customer Care for return arrangements and details of any applicable return costs disclosed before purchase.
Please take reasonable care of the goods and return all supplied items and accessories. You may handle them as necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, as you reasonably could in a shop. Handling beyond this, which may include playing rounds on a golf course, can result in a deduction reflecting the actual resulting loss in value, but does not itself remove your cancellation right. We will explain and evidence any deduction; we do not charge a restocking, administration or cancellation fee for a statutory cancellation. No deduction for excessive handling applies if we have failed to provide the legally required cancellation information. The Perfect Fit Promise separately allows on-course use for an eligible model exchange.
If you've paid for delivery, we'll also refund the cost of our standard delivery service. If you selected a more expensive delivery option, the additional cost may not be refundable.
We'll refund you without undue delay. Where we offer to collect the goods, including trolleys under this policy, we will refund no later than 14 days after the day you tell us you are cancelling; we will not make this deadline dependent on collection or inspection. Where we have not offered collection, we may withhold the refund until we receive the goods back or you provide evidence of sending them back, whichever is earlier, and will refund no later than 14 days after that day. Unless we offer collection, you must send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day you tell us you are cancelling. Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, and you will not incur a refund fee.
Are there any exceptions?
The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right does not apply to goods genuinely made to your specifications or clearly personalised, such as a trolley produced with a bespoke design or engraving requested specifically by you. Manufacturing a standard product after you order it does not, by itself, make it exempt. Where an exemption applies, we will explain this before you place your order. Your rights if goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose are unaffected.
Our standard trolley models and colour options available to purchase on our website are not considered bespoke products and remain eligible for statutory cancellation rights, where applicable.
Your statutory rights relating to faulty goods remain unaffected.
Faulty products and your consumer rights
Every Stewart Golf trolley is built to deliver reliable performance. However, if something goes wrong, our Customer Care team is here to help.
If you believe your product is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, please contact our Customer Care team with your order details or other evidence of purchase and a description of the issue. Photos or videos can help us assess the problem, but are not a condition of exercising your statutory rights. We may reasonably inspect the product; troubleshooting or assessment will not remove or improperly delay a remedy to which you are legally entitled.
Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Your remedies depend on the circumstances and when the problem arises. These rights also apply to Approved Refurbished goods, taking account of their description, price, age and condition disclosed before purchase. For repair, replacement and the subsequent remedies, a fault appearing within six months is generally presumed to have been present at delivery unless we show otherwise or that presumption is incompatible with the goods or fault. After six months, you will generally need to show the underlying problem was present at delivery. Statutory rights do not automatically end when the warranty expires.
Within the first 30 days
If your goods do not meet these requirements, you generally have a short-term right to reject them and receive a full refund within 30 days, normally beginning the day after delivery and transfer of ownership (and completion of any required installation or other enabling action). You do not have to accept a repair or replacement instead. If you request or agree to a repair or replacement during that period, the statutory clock pauses during the waiting period; on return of the goods, you have the remaining period or at least seven days, whichever is longer, to exercise that right if they still do not conform.
After 30 days
You can generally choose repair or replacement, unless your chosen remedy is impossible or disproportionate compared with the alternative. We must provide it at our cost, within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you. Your statutory rights are not limited to the remedies in our warranty.
If a repair or replacement is unsuccessful
You may choose an appropriate price reduction or exercise the final right to reject if the goods still do not conform after one repair or one replacement, if neither remedy is available, or if we fail to provide the remedy within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience. You do not have to accept repeated attempts. Any deduction for use on a final rejection will be made only where permitted by law and explained to you. A statutory rejection refund will be paid without undue delay and within 14 days after we agree that you are entitled to it, using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without a refund fee.
Where a remedy is due under your statutory rights, you will not be charged for it, including necessary collection, delivery and packaging costs. Original packaging is not required. A finding of 'no fault found' does not itself establish that a charge is payable; any charge for separately agreed, non-covered assessment or work must be lawful, explained and expressly agreed in advance.
These rights are separate from the Perfect Fit Promise and our warranty cover.
