It is important to know which version of wheel your R1 has before ordering a replacement to avoid disappointment when it does not fit. There are two versions due to updated design: 

V1

Version one of the wheel had a flat design on both frame and wheel.  

V2

If you have a V2 front wheel, you should be able to clearly see a lip on both wheel and frame. 

However if you are unsure of which wheel you need, remove the front wheel and take a picture from a comparable angle to the images above.
