The X5 Remote is the latest evolution of the X Series which started with the X1 back in 2003. The X Series was designed to change the perception of the battery powered cart from something that a golfer might need, to something that they desire.
Unlike most other trolleys on the market, the X5 Remote was specifically designed to be remotely controlled. A unique chassis design places the battery in the centre of the wheelbase, resulting in a low and central centre of gravity which in turn gives you the stability you need.
The X5 has a wide rear wheelbase (66cm), and also has two front wheels for an increased footprint. The chassis has a built in stabiliser, which means that the X5 Remote has the ability to remain stable on the most challenging courses without help from you, meaning that you can just concentrate on your game. The X5 Remote features the alloy wheels that are fitted to the F1 Lithium.
The compact handset allows you to move the machine forwards, reverse, faster, slower, left and right from up to 50 yards away. You can also program up to 4 walking speeds in to the handset, designed to allow the X5 Remote to resume your ideal speed at the touch of a single button.
The X5 Remote is available now in Silver, Black or Green, you can order yours right now.

Product Reviews
From Simon Antrobus:
Since purchasing my Stewart X3R I can honestly say that my game has improved. From a 24 handicap I now find myself playing off 12, this I think is partly down to the use of my Stewart buggie. No dragging a full cart bag around with one hand behind, no twisting, no carrying, no being out of breath at the top of those long inclines you find on most courses making your next shot much easier. From there my brother then purchased his X3R and I can also say has seriously improved from a 28 handicapper to now playing off 20. To be perfectly honest I think the confidence it gives you when you turn up at a course, unload the fantastic looking X3R that strikes up conversations across all people is a massive boost to your game.
Regards, Simon.
From Gary Antrobus:
Luxury. Lazy golf brothers, have Stewarts, will travel! We always arrive at our next shot refreshed, many thanks to Stewart. Regards, Gary.
Dear Stewart Golf,
I just wanted to say how very pleased I am with my wonderful trolley. It has become a very good friend and follows me around obediently under the name K9. Seriously I am extremely grateful and, although I can't honestly say that my golf has improved, quite the reverse in fact, my rounds of golf have become far more fun. At least 2 people have said that they're going to buy one and many more look on enviously. So, again, many thanks and I will happily continue to act as an unofficial salesman.
All the very best, Tim Brooke-Taylor.
Dear Stewart Golf,
I have been meaning to write you a quick thank-you for my trolley, in a word it’s "fantastic". I have taken at least 3-5 shots off my handicap and seem to be playing much more consistently since I have been using it. Whether this is just down to the trolley is up for debate, but as I have been playing for about 4-5 yrs now, I got struck trying to break 90 (av 93).
Since I had the trolley I am consistently hitting below 90 (av 88). I put this down to concentration more that anything, as I am only 30 and don't struggle carrying the bag around the course so didn’t think the trolley would help my game just that it was a nice looking toy …. or so I thought.
Not having to carry, push or even steer a power trolley is just so easy and effortless, and allows you to concentrate on your next shot and in my opinion gives you more time to just enjoy the game. Most comments surrounding how great (and expensive) the trolley looks.
A couple of guys have said they have been thinking about one for last few years. I told them it’s the best thing I have ever bought and that the service was fantastic. If anyone asks me 'should I buy one?' ..... I'd say 'do it without hesitation, it's a luxury that you will not regret it for a second'. Please pass my comments onto your staff and feel free to use the words for any purpose you believe appropriate.

Product Questions & Answers
How many holes will a battery last?
The problem with the question is that 18 holes is not a reliable measurement, more a 'how long is a piece of string' sort of question. 18 holes can mean 5000 yards on a flat course with a light bag, or 8500 yards on a very hilly course on a wet day with 500 yard walk between holes and a fully loaded golf bag. The battery supplied with your Stewart is guaranteed to last for 18 holes in a 'worst case' scenario as described above. We know from our own experience (and those of our customers) that it is wholly possible that you can complete more than 18 holes with your battery (over 36 in some cases), however if you regularly play more than 18 holes in one day then we recommend that you purchase an additional battery.
There are lots of ways that you can conserve battery power on the golf course:
* Try to drive the trolley in as straight a line as possible and don't 'zig-zag' up the fairways.
* Use as light a bag as possible.
* If you are playing a long days golf and only have one battery, you can save a significant amount of energy by using the steering function sparingly and instead steering the Stewart like a conventional trolley by using the handle.
* Don't let the Stewart 'drag' you up hills as this will increase power consumption.
* Try to keep the Stewart on the short grass of a fairway, rather than the longer grass of the rough.
Will a Stewart cart follow me?
No. Stewart carts can only be controlled via the handset.
Why not? In the early development of Stewart Golf, a 'follow me' prototype was developed and tested. During trials we found that it is not really practical for your trolley to follow you, as you quite often do not want the trolley to go where you walk (round trees, bunkers, greens, tees etc). If the trolley had a 'follow me' function, you would have to turn the 'follow' function on and off every time you wanted to do something other than walk down the fairway, which we felt was a distraction. Although it would be a great gimmick and fun for a while, we do not feel that it would make for a very relaxing game of golf. There was a product on the BBC TV program 'Dragon's Den' some time ago which featured a similar concept. Despite huge exposure, this product has still not reached the market, which speaks volumes about its potential and validity. Our remote control system allows you to send the Stewart around greens, to the next tee and so on. A huge amount of time and effort has gone in to making the Stewart easy to steer and control at all speeds. It is so easy to use that once you are used to the buttons, you don't even need to look at the handset, so you can concentrate more of your energy on your game.
Is there a platform for a person to stand on?
No. Stewart Golf carts are designed specifically for golfers who walk. After all, golf was a game designed for players to walk, tour players always walk (but never carry their bag). Additionally, Stewart carts are designed to carry a golf bag and a set of golf clubs. The weight of a person (even a light one) is several times that of a golf bag (even a heavy one). Therefore the product is simply not designed for carrying a human. There are several products on the market which carry a person and their golf clubs. You will note that all of these are built with larger batteries and motors in order to carry the extra load. In short; if you want to walk the golf unencumbered just like Tiger does, then we can help. If you want to drive around the course and only walk when you absolutely have to, then unfortunately we can't.
